Canadians are heading to the polls to forged their votes within the 2025 federal election, and so, too, are the nation’s high officers.
Liberal Chief Mark Carney and Conservative Chief Pierre Poilievre each forged their ballots at polling stations of their respective Ottawa ridings. In the meantime, NDP Chief Jagmeet Singh opted to vote final week, in the course of the advance voting interval.
343 contested seats are up for grabs within the Home of Commons. Meaning a minimal of 172 seats is required for a celebration to succeed in majority standing.
