The corporate has benefited from a federal program, referred to as 8(a), that offers federal contracts to corporations owned by "socially and economically deprived" people, which usually means racial minorities with inadequate wealth. Because of the 8(a) program, HX5 secured tons of of thousands and thousands of {dollars} of federal contracts with businesses from NASA to the Military Corp of Engineers.
