President Trump’s rapid-fire spending cuts have affected communities everywhere in the nation — together with strongholds of his supporters.
One in every of them is Rising Solar, Maryland. The city had gained two FEMA grants designed to mitigate the results of catastrophic flooding. And although the world voted overwhelmingly to assist Trump’s re-election, his administration has now cancelled this system that funded these grants.
Throughout the state within the Trump-voting city of Emmitsburg, Maryland, an analogous state of affairs is taking part in out. The city is house to the Nationwide Fireplace Academy — a kind of nationwide struggle faculty for coaching firefighters in America. In March, the Trump administration abruptly cancelled courses on the academy, and locals are involved about how that may have an effect on the city’s economic system — and emergency preparedness throughout the nation.
