Trump predicts ‘massive week’ in Russia-Ukraine peace talks, Zelenskyy sees ‘constructive signal’


LONDON — President Donald Trump steered imminent progress in peace talks between Russia and Ukraine in a put up to Fact Social early on Sunday, saying he would “proceed to work with each side” to finish Moscow’s 3-year-old invasion of its neighbor.

Zelenskyy as a substitute provided a full 30-day ceasefire. On Sunday, following talks with the leaders of the U.Okay., France, Germany and Poland in Kyiv, Zelenskyy mentioned in a Telegram put up that he and his fellow leaders agreed that “an entire and unconditional ceasefire” ought to start on Might 12.

Putin has not agreed to Zelenskyy’s proposal, although in a Sunday assertion provided direct talks between Russia and Ukraine in Istanbul on Thursday.
