Some members of Halifax Regional Council are taking problem with the province weighing in on municipal points.
Final week, Nova Scotia Premier Tim Houston sided with the town’s mayor on his movement calling for all bike lane development to be halted.
Now, some are questioning how far provincial overreach will go between Houston’s authorities and Mayor Andy Fillmore.
Coun. Shawn Cleary stated it appears like “the premier needs to run Halifax,” whereas others name it “undemocratic.”
