Tsakani – On Tuesday, at about 15:40, EMPD Drug Enforcement Unit officers apprehended a 35-year-old man for possession and potential dealing in illicit substances.
The officers have been following up on a grievance obtained from involved members of the neighborhood a few drug peddler noticed at a residence on Mzimayi Avenue.
Upon arrival on the premises, the officers apprehended the suspect who was present in possession of 17 brown Mandrax tablets, with an estimated avenue worth of R850.
The substances have been seized and booked for proof.
The suspect, going through prices of possession and potential dealing in illicit substances, was detained on the Tsakane Police Station.
He’s anticipated to seem on the Tsakani Justice of the Peace’s Court docket quickly.
