Coldplay frontman Chris Martin is clarifying the feedback he made about Toronto’s Rogers Stadium earlier this week.

Martin issued the clarification Friday in the course of the third of 4 live shows on the newly constructed stadium, which is on the outskirts of town.

When he first took the stage on Monday, Martin thanked the gang for going by all “the visitors and the journey and the trains and the ready” to get to “this bizarre stadium in the midst of nowhere.”

However now Martin says he “by no means criticized” the stadium and solely meant to thank followers for making the trek to the previous Downsview Airport lands.

“I’ve by no means criticized this stadium that was superbly, kindly constructed for us to play in. I don’t assume to say something imply in any respect,” Martin informed the gang on Friday.

“I’m so grateful to have someplace the place we will hang around with all of you,” he added.

Concertgoers had complained about poor crowd management on the 50,000-capacity stadium when it first opened final month, and a few mentioned it was a problem getting out of the venue even after Coldplay’s first present.

As of Wednesday, Rogers spokesman Zac Carreiro mentioned Stay Nation has been enhancing the venue’s operations and “we all know they’ll proceed to make enhancements on the stadium.”
