EMPD officers go to companies in Kwa-Thema to make sure the house owners are compliant.
Kwa-Thema – The EMPD Kwa-Thema precinct held a by-law enforcement operation on the Duduza Taxi Rank on Monday.
Officers inspected road hawkers and outlets to test compliance with municipal by-laws and buying and selling allow laws.
Officers inspected native road hawkers and outlets to make sure compliance with municipal by-laws and legitimate buying and selling permits.
Of the eight companies inspected:
• 5 hawkers didn’t have legitimate or up-to-date permits;
• Two didn’t show their permits;
• Just one was absolutely compliant with a sound allow clearly seen.
The EMPD confused that merchants should adjust to laws to assist order and equity within the native economic system.
