You are taking a summer season trip in Italy this week with our Sense of Place: Rome sequence, exploring the music scene there. Right now, it is a fast day journey to Tuscany to go to Six Bars Jail, a tiny membership simply outdoors Florence dedicated to finger-style guitar.
Sergio Bianco is among the venue’s founders, who named the membership after a tune by guitarist Giovanni Unterberger.
“He was a pioneer within the ’70s as a result of for the primary time he introduced in Italy the strategy of finger choosing or finger model,” he says.
