Massive 12 commissioner Brett Yormark has obtained a three-year contract extension by 2030, the convention confirmed Tuesday.
ESPN first reported that the Massive 12 board of administrators agreed to increase his unique five-year contract, which was set to run out in 2027.
Yormark was CEO of Jay-Z’s Roc Nation leisure firm when he was employed to take over for Bob Bowlsby in 2022.
Yormark landed a six-year tv contract extension with ESPN and FOX valued at $2.28 billion and shepherded the transfer of Colorado, Arizona, Arizona State and Utah to the Massive 12 following the disintegration of the Pac-12. He additionally oversaw the Bowlsby-negotiated transfer of BYU, Cincinnati, Houston and UCF into the Massive 12 in 2023.
