Myanmar is experiencing “a degree of devastation that hasn’t been seen over a century in Asia,” the appearing head of the Worldwide Federation of Crimson Cross and Crimson Crescent Societies mentioned following Friday’s earthquake.

The IFRC launched an emergency attraction calling for “international solidarity” because it mobilized its groups to assist in the rescue efforts in Myanmar.
