Whereas standing subsequent to Prime Minister Keir Starmer of the UK, Trump displayed a commerce settlement signed with the U.Ok. He then by accident dropped the doc, blaming the wind, and misspoke, stating that the settlement was with the European Union.
The White Home clarified that the settlement Trump confirmed was with the UK.
When requested what was completely different between the settlement and the one he signed with the U.Ok. within the Oval Workplace in Could, the president mentioned, “Not a lot.”
“We simply signed a doc. This isn’t — sorry about that …” Trump mentioned as he dropped the doc.
“A vital doc,” Starmer chimed in with laughter.

“Somewhat windy out right here. We simply signed it and it is executed. And so, now we have our commerce settlement with the European Union, and it is a truthful deal for each. It’ll produce a number of jobs, a number of revenue. And now we have many, many different ones coming,” Trump continued.
The White Home offered further particulars on metal and aluminum within the US-UK settlement, saying that Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick will decide a quota of merchandise that may enter the U.S. with out being topic to the 25% Part 232 tariff.
The President flattered Starmer, concluding the bilateral assembly with, “The prime minister’s executed a fantastic job. I wish to simply inform that to the individuals of the UK, he is executed a really, superb job.”
