Streetcar service alongside three TTC routes has resumed common service following an overhead energy outage attributable to a derailment downtown.
The streetcar derailment, which occurred at Dundas Avenue West and Bathurst Avenue through the Thursday morning rush hour, impacted service on the 505 Dundas, 506 Carlton and 511 Bathurst routes.
Police had closed the eastbound and westbound lanes of Dundas at Bathurst and southbound Bathurst at Dundas as crews labored to restore the overhead wires.
