“Disappointment As a Present”
Adrianne hyperlinks is a singer and songwriter. She’s the lead singer of the critically acclaimed and beloved band Large Thief, and her work as a solo artist can also be critically acclaimed and beloved. Her most up-to-date solo album, Vibrant Futurewas named probably the greatest albums of 2024 by the New Yorker, Stereogumand extra, and it was nominated for a Grammy for Greatest Folks Album. It was co-produced by Adrianne and longtime collaborator Phil Weinrobe. And I talked to the 2 of them in regards to the making of one in all my favourite songs from it, “Disappointment As a Present.”
