Mereba’s sophomore album is a love letter to the folks and experiences that formed her life. It may possibly take the type of a track written for her new child or a voice memo that includes clever knowledge from her father.
On a track like “Counterfeit,” she nods on the lengthy journey by means of the music trade to get up to now. Mereba’s musical profession has taken her from Greensboro, N.C., studying guitar and enjoying people music, to turning into part of Atlanta’s underground music scene within the 2010s.
Now based mostly in LA, she was mentored by Stevie Marvel, and in 2019, Mereba launched her debut album, The Jungle is the Solely Manner Out.
