The Memphis Grizzlies introduced Friday that they’ve “parted methods” with head coach Taylor Jenkins after five-plus seasons.
“I am genuinely appreciative of Taylor’s contributions to this staff and this metropolis over the previous six seasons. This was a troublesome determination, given the constant and tangible improvement of our gamers and total success beneath Taylor’s management. I want Taylor the easiest shifting ahead,” Grizzlies president and common supervisor Zach Kleiman stated in a press release.
An interim head coach has not been named.
The Grizzlies are 44-29 this season, good for the fifth seed within the Western Convention. On Thursday, Memphis misplaced on the highway to the Oklahoma Metropolis Thunder, 125-104, and has misplaced 5 of its final seven video games.
