In current months we have seen the Trump administration punishing speech vital of Israel in its widening effort to fight what it sees as antisemitism. As protestors have been detained for pro-Palestinian activism, we have seen assaults on Jews and other people expressing concern for Israeli hostages in Gaza — and within the wake of all this, lots Jews do not agree on which actions constitutive antisemitism. On this episode, we’re wanting on the panorama of this disagreement, and speaking to the authorized scholar who got here up with the definition of antisemitism that the White Home is utilizing, and who says he is anxious that definition is being utilized in a means that might damage Jews as a substitute of defend them.
