King Charles III delivers throne speech, opening Parliament


King Charles III and Queen Camilla arrived on the Senate constructing in Ottawa on Tuesday, to ship a speech from the throne and formally open Parliament.

The royals have been welcomed with full navy honours and a 100-person honour guard from the third Battalion of the Royal Canadian Regiment.

The ceremony included an inspection of the guard and band and a 21-gun salute.

The royal go to is occurring at a crucial second, as U.S. President Donald Trump repeatedly requires Canada’s annexation and makes an attempt to overturn the foundations of worldwide commerce with tariffs.
