MPs pay tribute to Ken Dryden in Home of Commons

Members of Parliament paid tribute to hockey legend Ken Dryden within the Home of Commons as we speak.

MPs stood for a second of silence to honour the late Montreal Canadiens goaltender, who additionally served as a member of Parliament and Liberal cupboard minister.

In his remarks following the second of silence, Prime Minister Mark Carney referred to as Dryden a nationwide hero and a private idol, including that Dryden was the rationale he turned a goalie.
