The jazz journal Downbeat created a function for his or her final web page referred to as the Blindfold check, wherein a author would play chosen tracks for a visitor musician who needed to attempt to establish the artist from simply listening or a minimum of analize the piece.
That is what Anamaria Sayre and I did this week. Or a minimum of we tried.
Although she broke the principles of the sport, we nonetheless had fun and a pleasant chat about music from throughout Latin America.
