In the event you play shut consideration to her previous few albums, you may hear that Colombian vocalist Karol G has been edging towards the acoustic house. This week, Anamaria Sayre talks concerning the singer’s newest album, which just about replaces drum machines with congas and bongos for an intentional Pan-Latin strategy.

In the meantime, Felix Contreras finds one other instance of jazz from South America within the type of Argentine vocalist Roxana Amed reimagining the glory of Argentine rock with artistic jazz preparations.
