Police have arrested protesters in London for supporting activist group Palestine Motion, which was banned at midnight in the UK.
“Officers have arrested greater than 20 individuals on suspicion of offences beneath the Terrorism Act 2000. They’ve been taken into custody. Palestine Motion is a proscribed group and officers will act the place prison offences are dedicated,” the Metropolitan Police wrote on X on Saturday.
Marketing campaign group Defend Our Juries stated in a press launch that 27 individuals, together with a priest and a variety of well being professionals, had been arrested for offences beneath the Terrorism Act.
